Beyond These Walls: Material Cultures of Jewish and Chinese Detainees @ MOCA

The Museum of Chinese in America (MOCA) and the Center for Jewish History are pleased to present a panel discussion of the materials created by Jewish and Chinese detainees (Golden Venture Paper Sculptures) as they waited for entry into the United States. MOCA will bring select artifacts from its Golden Venture collection to be viewed during a dessert reception to follow the discussion.

Kindly note this event will be held off-site at the Center for Jewish History at 15 West 16th St. in Manhattan’s Union Square neighborhood.
