July 4 Celebration - Guyon-Lake-Tysen House Tour and Independence Day Pie Baking

The Guyon-Lake-Tysen House was built in 1740. It is a witness to the story of colonial settlement in New York, of British occupation and American Revolution, of enslavement and emancipation on Staten Island, urban expansion, and the unfolding story of America that continues to this day. Then, in the 19th century kitchen, Lemon Chess, Strawberry, and Blueberry pies -- delicious desserts are baked with the expert skill of Carlotta DeFillo and Carli DeFillo!
