Aircraft of the Month: F11F Tiger

The Grumman F11F Tiger was a supersonic carrier based fighter developed in the 1950s. Only 201 of these aircrafts were built between 1954 and 1958 and they were flown from Intrepid in 1959 and 1960. Though the Tiger's lifespan as a fighter was brief, they were eventually were used in the Navy's flight demonstration team, AKA the Blue Angels.
